WHALES

Almost ten years ago while travelling I had several free hours, so I decided to try whale watching. I didn't expect much of it and I didn't know much about whales either. But the moment I saw a first minke whale and then a humpback whale I was so stunned and something clicked in me. Since then I started to be absolutely obsessed with whales, learning more and more about their fascinating social behaviour, migration patterns and species interactions. I sailed in different oceans from Australia to the Azores through Iceland and Sri Lanka connecting with amazing marine biologists and volunteer organisations from around the world to get a better understanding of how indeed incredible and intelligent whales are.
